Terms & Conditions

 

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FORM PART OF ANY AGREEMENT MADE BY “THE CUSTOMER” AND ALL POINTS DELIVERIES.

ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTATION AND OR CONTRACT IS ACCEPTING OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS LAID DOWN BELOW.

  1. UNLESS YOU ARE A BUSINESS CUSTOMER OR BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ALL WORK MUST BE PAID FOR EITHER BY CASH DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD ON COMPLETION.

  2. ALL POINTS DELIVERIES CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DELAYS DUE TO WEATHER, ROAD CONDITIONS AND TRAFFIC DELAYS OUTWITH OUR CONTROL I DO HOWEVER AIM TO BE ON TIME AND USE THE MOST EFFICIENT ROUTES POSSIBLE.

    IF DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS WE ARE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE JOB I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO DO SO AT THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE TIME.

  3. WORK THAT IS PRE BOOKED IS SUBJECT TO A DEPOSIT EQUIVALENT TO TWO HOURS OF DRIVER TIME AND VEHICLE HIRE. THIS IS CHARGEABLE IF CANCELLED WITHIN 24 HOURS.

    IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION WITHIN 24 HRS OR GOODS TO BE CARRIED ARE NOT OF SUITABLE CONDITION, (DISCRETION OF DRIVER APPLIES). A MILEAGE CHARGE MAY APPLY.

  4. ALL CHARGES ARE FOR THE HIRE OF THE VAN AND DRIVER ONLY.

  5. ALL POINTS DELIVERIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO CARRY ANY UNSUITABLE LOAD OR LOADS DEEMED TO BE UNSAFE EITHER BY SOILING OR HAZARDOUS MATERIAL.

    THERE WILL BE THE MINIMUM CHARGE PLUS ANY MILEAGE IN THIS CASE, IF WE HAVE TO TRAVEL AND NOT PICK UP THE LOAD.

  6. ALL POINTS DELIVERIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PARKING OR CONGESTION AND TOLL FEES. THESE INCLUDING ANY FERRY OR OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION CHARGES REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK. THESE WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR COST.

  7. ADDITIONAL TIME WILL BE CHARGED IN HALF HOUR INCREMENTS.

  8. ADEQUATE PARKING AND ACCESSABILITY IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY. ALL POINTS DELIVERIES CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS IN OBTAINING ACCESS TO COLLECTION OR DELIVERY POINTS.

  9. ALL PACKAGING IS THE RESPOSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.

    GOODS INCORRECTLY PACKED MAY NOT BE COVERED BY INSURANCE. THE DRIVER CAN ASSIST IN PACKING SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL COST AND SUITABLE NOTICE.

  10. ONCE LOADED AND CHECKED BY CUSTOMER ALLPOINTS DELIVERIES WILL HAVE IN PLACE A GOODS IN TRANSIT INSURANCE, SUBJECT TO MAXIMUM VALUE OF £20.000. ANY CLAIM IS SUBJECT TO AN EXCESS PAYMENT OF £100.00 PAYABLE BY THE CUSTOMER. THIS IS NON REFUNDABLE.

  11. THE INSURANCE WHICH IS INCLUDED WITHIN THE PRICE QUOTED IS FOR GOODS IN TRANSIT ONLY AND WILL ONLY COVER GOODS WHILE IN TRANSIT ON THE VEHICLE AND NOT INSIDE THE PROPERTIES AT THE PICK UP OR DELIVERY POINT.

  12. SHOULD YOU REQUIRE EXTRA INSURANCE THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT YOUR INSURER OR A BROKER

  13. I ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GOODS ONCE DELIVERY HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND PAYMENT MADE.

  14. IF THE DRIVER IS ASSISTING IN LOADING THE VEHICLE, HE MAY REQUIRE ASSISTANCE WITH THE CARRYING OF LARGE AND HEAVIER ITEMS.

    IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE AND ABLE ASSISTANCE IN THIS CASE.

    IF THE DRIVER HAS TO ENTER PROPERTY (BUSINESS OR RESIDENTIAL) WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DUE TO INADEQUATE ACCESS CLEAR WALKWAYS AND EXITS.

  15. THE MAXIMUM LOAD AT ANY ONE TIME IS 3000KGS OR 3.3TONS. WE CARRY AS PART OF OUR SERVICE SMALL LOADS AND INDIVIDUAL ITEMS. WE WILL ALWAYS TRY AND FIT YOUR LOAD IN BUT LOAD SIZE MAY BE LIMITED AT TIMES.

    IF PART OF LOAD IS NON URGENT ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE TO COLLECT AT LATER TIME SUITABLE TO BOTH CUSTOMER AND ALL POINTS DELIVERY. WE CAN OFFER SOME STORAGE FACILITIES IF REQUIRED IN THIS INSTANCE.

  16. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO AMEND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME.
